Responsible AI — Signal Intelligence

Last updated: 27 August 2026

Signal Intelligence uses AI to summarise, structure and connect publicly available information. This page explains the principles that guide that use.

1. Transparency

We clearly label AI-generated summaries and analysis. Where AI has assisted in drafting content, we say so. Original reporting and third-party sources are always attributed and linked.

2. Attribution and provenance

Every summary links back to the original publisher or source. We do not present AI-generated synthesis as original reporting, and we do not remove or obscure source attribution. Our full source list is published on Sources.

3. Human oversight

AI is used to assist curation and summarisation, not to replace editorial judgment. We review outputs for accuracy, relevance and fairness before publication, and we correct errors when they are identified.

4. Accuracy and limitations

AI-generated content can be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. We apply safeguards, but we do not guarantee that every summary is error-free. Content on this site is provided for general information only and is not professional advice.

5. No training on publisher content

We do not use RSS-sourced or licensed publisher content to train or fine-tune AI models without a specific licence permitting that use. AI summarisation operates on content at the point of ingestion.

6. Fairness and bias

We aim to present multiple perspectives, especially on contested topics. We monitor for repetitive framing and geographic bias, and we adjust source selection and prompts where we identify systematic skew.

7. Feedback
